1. Who you are dealing with

Stated Method, contactable at hello@statedmethod.com. Using this site, or buying the diagnostic, means these terms apply.

2. What is for sale

One thing: the diagnostic. A fixed price analysis of Search Console exports you send us, delivered as a written report within 5 working days of receiving usable files, for $400 inclusive of tax.

There are no calls, no meetings and no retainer attached to it. Everything else published here is free to read.

3. What you provide

We do not ask for, and will not accept, login credentials or account access of any kind.

• The exports named in the brief, produced from your own Search Console property.
• Confirmation that you are entitled to share them - that the property is yours, or that you have the owner's permission.
• Enough context to interpret the site, which usually means what the pages are for and what you were trying to achieve.

4. What is not promised, deliberately

No ranking, no traffic figure, no revenue outcome and no timeline for any of them. Nobody selling search work can promise those, because none of us controls the search engine, your competitors or your market.

What the diagnostic does is tell you what is measurably true of your own data, with the instrument, the window and the sample size stated next to every figure, including the ones that argue against spending money with anybody. It is analysis, not a forecast, and it is not a substitute for legal, financial or tax advice.

If a finding in your report cannot be supported by your own exports, it will not be in your report.

5. Your data and your confidentiality

Your files are used for your report and nothing else. They are never published, never quoted, never shown to anyone else, and never used as material for a finding on this site. Deleted on request at any time. The privacy policy sets out the detail.

Every figure published on this site is measured on properties we built and operate. That will not change because a client's data happened to be interesting.

6. Who owns the report

You do, once it is paid for. Use it, republish it, show it to whoever you like, quote it in a pitch. We keep the right to the methods and to anything we already published, but the analysis of your property is yours.

7. Payment and refunds

Payment is due before the work starts. A full refund is available on request with no window and no questions, set out in the refund policy. If your exports cannot support a useful diagnostic we will say so and refund you rather than deliver something padded to justify the fee.

8. Limits of liability

The report is analysis of data you supply, and decisions you take on the back of it are yours. Our liability in connection with the diagnostic is limited to the amount you paid for it, which you can in any case have back on request.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Changes to these terms

These may be revised. A revision applies to work agreed after it is published, never retrospectively to an engagement already underway, and the date at the top of this page moves only when the substance changes.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction. If something goes wrong, email first - it has never yet needed anything more formal than a conversation.
