1. Who you are dealing with

Stated Method, contactable at hello@statedmethod.com. Using this site, or buying any work sold here, means these terms apply.

2. What is for sale

Reads of the material you send, each quoted on request before anything is agreed. The diagnostic is a written report on one Search Console export within 5 working days. The other two are the AdSense rejection review and the search clicks drop check, each delivered within 2 working days of our having everything we need. A quote is inclusive of tax and is paid up front, and it holds for the work it was given for. What each one reads, and what it does not promise, is on its own page.

There are no calls, no meetings and no retainer attached. Everything else published here is free to read or use.

3. What you provide

We do not ask for, and will not accept, login credentials or account access of any kind.

• The files, notices, screenshots or site address named on the product page.
• Confirmation that you are entitled to share it - that the property is yours, or that you have the owner's permission.
• Enough context to interpret the material, including what changed and what decision the work is meant to support.

4. What is not promised, deliberately

No ranking, no traffic figure, no revenue outcome and no timeline for any of them. Nobody selling search work can promise those, because none of us controls the search engine, your competitors or your market.

The diagnostic and the drop check state what the supplied exports support. The AdSense review states what is visible on the public site and what its crawler rules permit. Each keeps observation apart from inference and says what its inputs cannot establish. None is a forecast or a substitute for legal, financial or tax advice.

If a conclusion cannot be supported by the material the product says it reads, it will not be in the document.

5. Your data and your confidentiality

Your material is used for your report or review and nothing else. It is never published, never quoted, never shown to anyone else, and never used as material for a finding on this site. Deleted on request at any time. The privacy policy sets out the detail.

That paragraph has one exception and you would have to enter it deliberately. The pilot programme below is the only route by which anything drawn from your export could appear on this site, and it publishes nothing without approvals given after you have read the exact text.

A paying client's material becoming interesting is not a reason to publish any of it.

6. The pilot programme

A small number of diagnostics are run as free pilots. A pilot has a slot and a start date agreed in advance, it is not a paid order, no invoice is issued and the price is zero.

A pilot is the only engagement under which anything drawn from your export may be published, and it does not get published by us deciding to. We write the exact wording and the exact figures, send them to you, and publish only if you and the owner of the data both approve that text after reading it. Approval is asked for separately from the report, and refusing it changes nothing about the report, which is delivered either way.

Whoever sends the export confirms that the owner of the data has authorised publication on these terms. Your permission is not treated as covering somebody else's property.

What is published does not state the site's name, its domain or any of its URLs. Beyond those, what keeps it from pointing at you is that you and the owner of the data have read and approved the exact text, which is why the approval is of the words and the figures rather than of the idea of publishing something.

We ask pilot clients for honest feedback, positive or negative, and it is a condition of nothing. If we want to quote it we ask afterwards, and wherever that quotation appears we say beside it that the report was supplied free as a pilot.

7. Who owns the report

You own the document once it is paid for, and in a pilot from the moment it is delivered. Use it, republish it, show it to whoever you like, quote it in a pitch. We keep the right to the methods and to anything we already published, but the analysis of your property is yours.

8. Payment and refunds

Payment is due before the work starts. A full refund is available on request with no window and no questions, set out in the refund policy. If the material cannot support the work the product page describes, we will say so and refund you rather than deliver something padded to justify the fee.

9. Limits of liability

The document is analysis of material you supply or of a public site you name, and decisions you take on the back of it are yours. Our liability in connection with the work is limited to the amount you paid for it, which you can in any case have back on request.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes to these terms

These may be revised. A revision applies to work agreed after it is published, never retrospectively to an engagement already underway, and the date at the top of this page moves only when the substance changes.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction. If something goes wrong, email first - it has never yet needed anything more formal than a conversation.
